The move from Hackney to Bath was a catalyst for the launch of Wild Fork West. Our next home had to balance functionality with beauty, it had to provide a sanctuary that would inspire our season-led catering menus and allow us to develop dishes that echo our ethos.

An 1830 two-story Georgian house in Larkhall stole our hearts, and we extended out into the side return to the ground floor to create an open-plan kitchen and dining area. We opened up the space with a glass roof and two sets of Crittall doors opening out to the outdoor space, which will eventually become Wild Fork West’s very own herb garden. As you’d presume for an event catering company, a great kitchen is very important. The space had to be functional, as well as provide a calm and light space to inspire. deVol married these practicalities with aesthetics, producing a beautiful combination of original elements and contemporary touches such as strong graphic lines and cool concrete.
