Farmers, Growers & Makers

When choosing your private chef or event caterer, you’ll be looking for like-minded folk. People who share your values and reflect your character through their story and the menu they craft. That’s how we felt when deciding where to source our local produce. With our environmental impact, ethics and quality at the forefront of our minds, we began our quest for farmers, growers and makers that sing from the same hymn sheet.

Jamie’s Farm

Jamie’s Farm are a catalyst for change. Through their unique residential experience and follow-up programme, they enable disadvantaged young people to thrive not only academically, but socially and emotionally too. Affecting young people across the UK, exclusion in a social and academic environment causes children to disconnect with their potential for success. Jamie’s Farm help young people realise what they are capable of, with a unique preventative approach to empower these young people to change course.

Their farm in Bath is the hub of their operations, with beautiful livestock including Aberdeen Angus cows and Suffolk ewes. Their range of renewable energy systems include solar systems and biomass boilers, meaning that the Bath farm is now a net zero importer of energy.

Lovejoys

With a mission to provide local produce of the highest quality and the lowest food miles, Lovejoys are a fifth generation grocer believing in the most sustainable and environmental approach to the local fresh food supply chain. Starting with Jack Rose in the 19th century, Lovejoys began life as a small market garden and now after journeying through family hands, Neil and his sons George and Ben work throughout the night to ensure the freshest produce is delivered to us.

The Bath Soft Cheese Co.

Based at Park Farm, Bath Soft Cheese take a traditional approach to raising and grazing their small herd of Holstein Friesian cows. Entirely organic, they boast no fungicides, pesticides or artificial fertilisers meaning their land and waterways remain uncontaminated. Their cheese is made from their own organic milk as soon as the cows are milked each day, there is no fresher way.
