Real Wedding: R & G
Euridge Manor; already a breathtaking venue, but somehow, Rose & Greg managed to make it even more spectacular. Their meticulous thought and planning truly paid off, we think about this special day more than we’d care to admit… Although filled with ultra stylish details, Rose & Greg’s wedding day felt magically personal and intimate and we’re so pleased to be able to share it with you! A huge thank you to Rebecca to sharing her images with us, aren’t they incredible?
You’d be forgiven for thinking these images are taken somewhere in the Med, but no, we actually enjoyed some sunshine for this special day (can you remember sunshine?) and Rose and Greg’s clean, crisp and elegant details really hit us right in the Italian fashion feels! The most beautiful white florals clutched by both the bride and her girls, with fresh green foliage and soft blue touches in the form of silk ribbons. Rose’s wedding dress was so classically beautiful, with an enormous bow and train that demanded its own space in the room!
We stirred up some refreshing cocktails for guests to enjoy on the terrace overlooking the beautiful boat lake. Rose & Greg chose brambles, with fresh blackberries and rosemary. These shared the stage with other reception drinks; ice cold beers in buckets and Prosecco for something more traditional. We served the Prosecco with edible flowers for a colourful summer twist! Canapés were circulated, through the arch and under the chandelier, we delivered arancini and vibrant courgette and feta rolls.
The ballroom was a stunning sight to be hold, with taper candles twinkling above more green, white and soft pink blooms. Rose & Greg chose clear beaded charger plates to add a touch of decadence to the table, alongside The Knotted Napkin Company’s blush hand dyed napkins. Guests received lemoncello for their wedding favours, complete with little tags with the Euridge logo. As guests walked in, they enjoyed focaccia and oils before digging into the main event, which continued an Italian feel.
The menu began with a traditional Italian bruschetta with bocconcini and tomatoes with plenty of peppery rocket. Back to England for the main course; a hearty beef dish with creamy mashed potatoes, rosemary glazed carrots and a rich beef jus. For pudding, a light and fruity cheesecake with passionfruit and berries.
After a formal sit-down wedding breakfast and speeches, it was time to relax with cocktails in the beautiful grounds. Guests sat around the petal marquee on rustic hay bales soaking in the summer evening atmosphere.
Later on into the evening, the epic team at Soul Dough joined us with their famous wood fired pizzas. Have you ever seen a happier bride and groom!?
