Real Wedding: K&H
Mysterious white peacocks, beautifully landscaped gardens, serene water features and a breathtaking view of rolling countryside… Parish’s House is truly something else, and we were thrilled to work with Matthew Oliver Weddings on a marvellous Bath wedding this summer.
Guests arrived to the front of the manor house, a vista of elegant grey-clothed poseur tables and summer-scented florals awaited them. The ceremony was held outside in the sunshine, followed by a drinks reception in the courtyard to the sound of a string quartet playing Bridgerton-inspired music.
Alongside an enticing array of cocktails named after K&H’s furry companions (dirty martini not included…!), we served a plentiful grazing table with locally sourced cheeses, cured meats and accompaniments. Our team also walked amongst guests with boards brimming with sliders of all different fillings and flavours.
Into the tent, with a Mediterranean feel. Citrus fruits, trendy rattan and bold printed table cloths transported guests to a Spanish island, and overhead Wizz & Wild had created a stunning fern canopy that gently swayed in the wind. The tables were long and communal, inviting the lovely hum and buzz of guests chattering over their sharing feast throughout the wedding breakfast.
Following an amuse bouche of Crayfish and a light starter of Grilled Peach and Goat Cheese Salad, K&H chose to dine on colourful and seasonal sharing plates for their main course. Sea Bass and Hanger Steaks took centre stage, with a Farro Salad and Tomato and Mozzarella Salad to accompany. A palette cleanser of Yuzu & Cucumber Sorbet was next, featuring zingy little Yuzu Balls for something a little different. Then, onto the dessert table, where guests came up to help themselves to Truffles, Cookies, Cheesecakes and DIY Espresso Martinis!
We adore a marquee wedding: a real opportunity for brides and grooms to inject their personality into a blank canvas and create something that truly reflects themselves. Thanks to the wonderful line-up of suppliers for being friendly team to work alongside, we can’t wait for the next one.
